Canine-Integrated Enrichment Programs

Giving Retriever Canine-Integrated Social Enrichment programs are designed to teach participants the skill of dog training, while simultaneously promoting: social engagement, relationship building, perspective taking, self advocacy, stress-reduction and confidence building. 

Learned skills may be translated into life-skill, volunteer and employment opportunities in the future. Participants are encouraged to explore the similarities and parallels between human and dog behavior and learning theory.  These insights allow for introspection, as well as personal growth and development. 

Sessions are held at the Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla NY (weather permitting). 

Groups are based on age, participation goals, and ability.
